I guess it all started a couple of years ago. It didn’t take long after buying the house, that Jeremy and I realized we may have gotten in a little over our heads…
Never having been homeowners before, we had NO IDEA just how costly owning a home could really be. We have managed but, after working so hard to get here? We both wanted to do better than “just getting by”. We quickly realized that the kinds of jobs we are qualified for were never going to get us the future we really want.
So it started with Jeremy looking for opportunities to make extra money. The first thing we both got involved in was selling life insurance. I still do this (hit me up if you need some protection for your family 😉) but we found out Jeremy couldn’t because of his criminal record.
This led to him continuing to search for something HE could do. That’s when he discovered affiliate marketing. He started watching all these YouTube videos about it and found a few people who at first seemed really awesome. We soon found that the world of affiliate marketing had a lot of shady people it in. People who only care about some crazy $1000-5000 course that THEY created to supposedly teach people how to do affiliate marketing, but really just share only half the story and keep the REAL processes they use to themselves!
Thank GOD we didn’t do one of these, because we ALMOST did! But luckily at the time, Jeremy had an online friend who had taken the course we were considering, and warned us that it wasn’t worth!
Instead we found a great course (recommended by a friend) that was only $100 and went really in-depth into marketing strategies and how to really grow a BUSINESS, not just link barf all over people.
That’s when we decided that we didn’t want to be like all those other people, promoting all this high ticket nonsense that is really just taking peoples money and leaving them lost. We decided that we wanted to BETTER.
So for now? We just promote the same course we took, but add to it by offering personal one on one help from us (well me mostly lol). We really just want to help other people who may be in the same boat we were when we first got into all this. There’s so much info out there and our goal is to help the newcomer sift through all the bullshit to find the GOLD!
